Effective Date: 2026-07-13 Last Updated: 2026-07-07 Entity: courtme.ai, Inc. (Delaware C-Corporation; principal place of business: Austin, TX) Contact: privacy@courtme.ai
To keep courtme safe and confirm that people are who they say they are, we verify your identity by comparing a selfie you take to the photo on the government ID you submit. To do this, our identity-verification provider generates a mathematical representation of your facial geometry (a "face template") and compares the two images to produce a match / no-match result.
This face template is a "biometric identifier" (a scan of face geometry). This notice explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and how we destroy it - and asks for your consent before we begin.
We do not use face recognition to identify you in photos generally, to tag you, to build a face database, to track you, or to serve advertising.
Solely to:
We do not use your biometric data for any other purpose, and we never use it to train, evaluate, or improve any AI model.
Before we capture or generate any biometric data, we ask you to review this notice and provide your affirmative, written consent (an electronic "I agree," which is a valid written release). You are not required to consent - but because identity verification is required to use courtme, if you do not consent you will not be able to complete verification or use the service.
You may withdraw consent for future biometric processing by emailing privacy@courtme.ai. Withdrawal does not affect verification already completed, and may require you to re-verify or may end your ability to use courtme.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, or restrict biometric and other personal data. See our Privacy Policy Sections 7–9. Illinois and Texas residents have specific protections under BIPA and CUBI; contact privacy@courtme.ai to exercise them.
Biometric consent. To verify your identity, courtme and its provider (Amazon Rekognition) will scan your face geometry from your selfie and government ID, compare them, and then immediately delete the facial scans, keeping only the verification result. courtme will never use this data to train AI, sell it, or use it for anything other than verifying your identity and age. Biometric data is destroyed at the latest within one year. You can read the full [Biometric Data Notice] and our [Privacy Policy].
☐ I have read the Biometric Data Notice and consent to courtme collecting and using my facial-geometry data as described.
