You can delete your courtme account and the personal data attached to it at any time. You do not need to install or reinstall the app to make the request. This page explains both routes, exactly what happens and when, and the small set of records we keep afterward and why.
Open courtme and go to Settings → Account & privacy → Delete account. Confirm on the sheet that appears. The effect is immediate and you keep a 30-day window to change your mind.
The same screen has Download your data, which gives you a copy of your profile, photos, matches, and messages. If you want your data, export it before you delete.
Email us from the address on your courtme account, or tell us the phone number you signed up with, and ask us to delete the account. We verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting, then run the same deletion described below. Expect confirmation within 30 days, and sooner in practice.
Your profile stops being visible to everyone else. You disappear from every event list and from the people you have connected with. Your account is marked deleted and a permanent purge is scheduled 30 days out.
Nothing is destroyed yet, and you can cancel. Sign back in and choose Cancel deletion, or email us, and your account and profile are restored in full. This window exists so an accidental or angry tap is recoverable.
The purge runs and is not reversible. Your account row and everything that hangs off it are permanently deleted, including your login credentials.
The purge removes your account itself along with the data tied to it, including:
A short, deliberate list survives the purge. We are naming it here rather than claiming deletion removes absolutely everything, because that claim would not be true.
Messages you sent to another person are removed from your account. Bear in mind that anything you shared directly with someone, in a chat or otherwise, may still exist in their own copy or in their memory. Deleting your account cannot reach that.
You do not have to close your account to remove things. Under Settings → My matchmaking profile you can see what the AI matchmaker holds about you and erase it, either the profile it built for one side of the app or everything it has learned. Individual photos and your profile details can be changed or removed from your profile screen. If you want a specific category of data removed and cannot find the control for it, email privacy@courtme.ai and ask.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to access your data, correct it, restrict how we use it, or object to a particular use. See the Privacy Policy for the full description and how to exercise each one, and the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page for the advertising opt-out.
Email privacy@courtme.ai with any question about deletion or about what we hold. We are CourtMe, Inc., 5900 Balcones Drive, Ste 100, Austin, TX 78731, USA.
